This section is designed for institutions with continuing accreditation visits. Institutions should read these materials carefully and submit a date for the visit to schedule the next on-site visit, after the state has approved the date.

Units that do not meet all standards are granted accreditation with conditions or probation (see Accreditation Decisions). To assist NCATE in making these accreditation decisions, the visiting team will make recommendations as to whether the standards have been met. If accreditation is continued, the next on-site visit is scheduled five or seven years after the semester of the visit, depending on the agreement with the state in which the institution is located.
