The annual NCATE Clinic provides representatives from NCATE’s partnership states and national specialized professional associations (SPAs) with an opportunity to learn about the latest updates from NCATE, hear presentations from national leaders on emerging educational issues, discuss important accreditation topics with state and Specialized Professional Association (SPA) participants, and network with colleagues. It also provides an opportunity for NCATE stakeholders to share experiences with their peers and NCATE staff in order to assess the effectiveness of the accreditation system and make suggestions for improvement. The Clinic is usually held during May and states and SPAs are sent invitations in January.
