As a state representative with newly assigned responsibilities for NCATE accreditation we welcome you to the NCATE family.
Please contact NCATE State Relations (NCATE Staff Directory) so that we can personally welcome you and introduce you to the resources NCATE provides to assist you.
We refer to the staff who partner with us from the state as state contacts. As a state contact you will be given codes to access accreditation information about the institutions in your state through NCATE’s Accreditation Information Management System (AIMS).
You will receive automatic emails when institutions in your state have submitted documents to NCATE, when NCATE reviews have been completed and when visit teams have been assembled. You can then go to AIMS to download the information and documents.
When NCATE is considering any changes we will notify you and often request your input. You will also receive NCATE accreditation policy updates, national news concerning teacher quality issues, and new NCATE initiatives.
