NCATE Workshop at ATE
 

THe Association of Teacher Education NCATE Workshop at ATE Summer Conference, August 2:  NCATE staff will present at one-day workshop (see below) at the ATE Summer Conference in Washington, DC. The session will be from 9 to 4 on August 2. Participants can include their registration for the workshop in their ATE Conference fee or they can register just for the NCATE Workshop.

Title:  Assessments and Accountability in the NCATE System:  Expectations for Evidence

NCATE requires candidate assessment data at program and unit levels as evidence that standards are being met. Expectations for program and unit assessments will be presented as well as strategies for developing and linking program and unit assessments. An overview of the streamlined unit review process and the program review process will be provided.
