All report forms are available in Adobe PDF format. NCATE is no longer able to provide MS Word versions of the report forms. Note that NCATE will create program report shells in AIMS up to a year prior to report submission so that faculty can work on the report on line.

The 2001 edition of NAEYC standards is applicable to program reports submitted through 2010. NAEYC is submitting a new set of standards to NCATE in Fall 2010. If approved, programs can use either set of standards through Spring 2012. Beginning in Fall 2012, programs submitting reports must use the new set of standards.
Report form
Programs that meet the criteria for a blended early childhood general and special education program should submit a blended report form that includes responses to both the NAEYC and CEC standards. Information about the criteria for blended programs is available on the NAEYC website.
The 2001 edition of NAEYC standards is applicable to program reports submitted through 2010. NAEYC is submitting a new set of standards to NCATE in Fall 2010. If approved, programs can use either set of standards through Spring 2012. Beginning in Fall 2012, programs submitting reports must use the new set of standards.
The 2000 edition of AECT standards is applicable to program reports submitted through 2011. AECT is submitting a new set of standards to NCATE in Fall 2011. If approved, programs can use either set of standards through Spring 2013. Beginning in Fall 2013, programs submitting reports must use the new set of standards.
The 2001 edition of ISTE standards for Technology Facilitation and Leadership are applicable to program reports submitted through 2011.
The 2002 edition of ISTE standards for Computer Science Education are applicable to program reports submitted through 2011. ISTE is submitting a new set of standards to NCATE in Fall 2011. If approved, programs can use either set of standards through Spring 2013. Beginning in Fall 2013, programs submitting reports must use the new set of standards.
The2001 edition of ELCC standards is applicable
to program reports submitted through 2010. ELCC is submitting a new set of standards to NCATE in Fall 2010. If approved, programs can use either set of standards through Spring 2012. Beginning in Fall 2012, programs submitting reports must use the new set of standards.

NAGC - CEC Teacher Knowledge and Skill Standards for Gifted and Talented Education is applicable through 2013. NAGC is submitting a new set of standards to NCATE in Fall 2013. If approved, programs can use either set of standards through Spring 2015. Beginning in Fall 2015, programs submitting reports must use the new set of standards.
NCATE approved a revised set of AAHE standards in 2008. Programs submitting reports in 2009 and 2010 can choose to respond to either the 2001 standards or the 2008 standards. Beginning in Spring 2011 all programs will be required to use the 2008 standards.

Many secondary post-baccalaureate programs have been developed for candidates who enter the program already having been prepared in the content area; typically candidates enter the program with an undergraduate major in the field. A new process has been created for institutions that are submitting program reports in five different content areas--English, Math, Social Studies, Science and Foreign Languages.
The 2003 edition of NCTM standards (Secondary, Middle
Level, Elementary) is applicable to program reports submitted through 2012. NCTM is submitting a new set of standards to NCATE in Fall 2012. If approved, programs can use either set of standards through Spring 2014. Beginning in Fall 2014, programs submitting reports must use the new set of standards.
