Mark your calendar for the TQ Center's next TQ Connection On-line Discussion on Response to Intervention (RTI): Evidenced-based Math Interventions


When: May 18-22, 2009; Amanda VanDerHeyden, Ph.D., will be online to answer questions every day throughout the week from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m Central Time.

Where: The TQ Connection Discussion Board at http://www.tqsource.org/forum/index.php?board=18.0

What: Dr. VanDerHeyden is a consultant with Education Research and Consulting, Inc. in Fairhope. During the course of the week she will facilitate a discussion about the findings from the National Math Panel Report. The discussion will highlight the research used to guide the selection of adequate universal screening measures, progress monitoring measures, and the identification and development of instructional strategies appropriate for use within all tiers of instruction. Further, she will address what this means for teacher preparation. Visit the board to discuss the issues with colleagues, share your ideas, and have your questions answered!
