Handbook for the Assessment of Professional Development Schools The Handbook for Accreditation Visits is a companion publication to the Professional Standards for Accreditation of Schools, Colleges, and Departments of Education. The Handbook provides guidance to institutions preparing for NCATE on-site reviews from the early planning stages through the decision. The publication also includes information to help NCATE Board of Examiner members conduct visits.
