It is double the size of the first edition and reviews research studies about PDSs that report outcomes for preservice teacher candidates, for experienced teachers, and for P-12 students. A five-page bibliography is included. The analysis suggests several directions for strengthening PDS reearch and the impact of PDSs on student and professional learning.
