Technology Initiatives

Increasingly, technology is poised to revolutionize teaching, learning, and assessment. In keeping with new demands for teachers skilled in integrating technology into instruction, NCATE adopted newly refined standards in 1995 that place added emphasis on several new areas, including technology. And now NCATE is taking part in several initiatives that are designed to spread technology knowledge to university faculty, teacher candidates, and teachers already in the classroom.
